During a standard mineral resource survey mission, Marz colonist teams documented previously unclassified thermogenic organisms near the Curiosity crater system.

Multiple clutches of polychromatic eggs were observed in heated, mineral nesting structures. Adult specimens remain unobserved at time of documentation.
